Chequered Flag Racing are the original importers and distributors of 1/5th scale in Australia.
Our experience in the Radio Control industry goes back over 30 years with Jack & Joyce Grenenger and son Colin who started Pit Stop RC Cars & Accessories in the 70’s. Pit Stop was involved in both the Hobby and Toy RC Markets in all scales.
Jack and Joyce retired in the late 80’s and Colin then took over the business.
In 1992 Chequered Flag Racing was formed. After selling 1/4 Scale models, we decided to follow the European trend of FG Modellsport 1/5th Scale Cars. In 1996 we imported Australia’s first FG Modellsport range into Sydney.
Today we specialise primarily in 1/5th and 1/6th scale FG models, large scale boats and accessories. We provide genuine professional service to all large scale hobbyists, offer the best advice and have a full range of spare parts. Chequered Flag Racing sells to both the Trade and Retail markets.
